フランスは世界的にも有名な生産地があり、高級ワインとして取引されているものも多くあります。その中でも、ロワール地方が自然派ワインの生産地として有名になりました。ニコラジョリーなど、ビオディナミの祖として有名な方も、ロワールの生産者。ただ、ロワールは高級ワインの生産地というよりは日陰の存在。その中で、自然派という他の生産地にないものに特化して作る生産者が多くいます。他にも、ブルゴーニュのボジョレーなど自然派ワインの造り手が多くいる地域です。
